Reset Password Form

  • Hy there,
    since i updated to version 3.1 the reset password form isn’t working and users can’t change their password.
    I’ve done some testing and…
    After i receive the link in the mail for new password, and after i complete the form, nothing happens.
    i’m redirected to the frontpage and that’s it.

  • Have you tried:

    – checking through Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 – Master List

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    this error occured after i updated to version 3.1
    plugins or theme have nothing to do with this

    hehehe.. the problem was from my . htaccess file
    everything is fixed now:D
