[Plugin: Share and Follow] Facebook API change?

    from one day to another the facebook publishing button stopped working:
    when I click it it send me to facebook but then facebook seems unable to grab the title of the arcticle (nor the image or the excerpt).
    EDIT: it seems also unable to grab the correct URL of the arcticle.

    Since it is also appening on ebay too (at least to me), I guess it has something to do with the facebook api, am I right?

    Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

    Yes, I have the same problem too, with Share and Follow 1.54.1

    I have other websites (WP 3.0.5) still using Share and Follow 1.53.3 and grab the correct URL and Title. This configuration, seems to have a problem with thumbnails

    I’ll check it out. not seeing any problems myself. For the URL it get the get_permalink() of the page which I believe has not changed in WP3.1 and get_the_title() to get the title of hte page

    Guys

    as a matter of interest are you talking about the Interactive button (facebook driven iframe with count) or the share button from the standard added icons?

    just want to make sure I am testing the same things as you are having problems with.

    I’ve replied to you also on the forum. please let me know a site address where it’s not working as I cannot replicate it at all with my various test machines

    Hi Andy, the button was the normal “recommend this on facebook”.
    But this morning everything is back to normal…
    I think it was some facebook’s problem, as the “recommend” wasn’t working on ebay either (at least here in Italy)…
    weird…

    no worries. let me know if it happens again so I can observe it also. Not that I can get any changes made by facebook ??

    Now it works correctly. May be it was a facebook problem
