I am getting the following error message any time I am trying to install a plugin, any clue??

I did fresh manual WP install (and everything went fine)

Unable to create directory /home/dalan/public_html/newsite/wp-content/uploads/2011/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Any help on how to get this fix this, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Henry

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

And please try search the forums before posting. There must be hundreds (if not thousands) of posts with exactly the same question getting exactly the same answer.
