Adding pages

So I admit I am totally new and not much up on coding, but I thought this would be really easy. I am finding it very frustrating to even just add pages and for it to show up.

I have a brand new install and started just adding pages to see the functionality of the site and what does what. Well I added 3 pages initially under the “pages” tab. They all showed up fine. I then tried to add pages “under” those pages with the parent directory option and they don’t show up, then I removed the pages all together (except the MAIN page page) and they wouldn’t go away. I removed them from the trash and then they disappeared from my blog totally.

Now when I try and re-add pages none of them are showing up under the header image except the initial Main Page (which if I rename does rename the link).

I am using the Twenty Ten theme and my site is https://www.volleyballphotography.com/blog

Any help would be much appreciated.
