Can't find Zlib.output_compression code

I have been trying to get a cache plugin running in my bog but keep getting this message- Either the PHP configuration, Web Server configuration or a script somewhere in your WordPress installation is has set zlib.output_compression to enabled.
Please locate and disable this setting to ensure proper HTTP compression management.
I have looked all through my root files and can’t find any zlib.output_compression code.I use the iNove 1.2.3 theme and have heard that it is set up differently than most themes. There is no php.ini file. The place to disable the zlib code isn’t in my .htaccess or my wp-config.
Does anyone know where ithe code for disabling Zlib.output_compression is or what can be done to disable it?
