List of postings by author outside the loop

Each author on a blog I administer has a bio page. I’d like to add a listing of of the author’s recent postings to their page. The only template tag I’ve been able to find needs to be in the loop, and the only plug in I could track down doesn’t seem to work with 1.5. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
