custom title tag for each category page

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve been trying to fix this for 2 days now with no luck and answers. I am using “all in one seo pack”.

    The problem is I can’t change the title to anything other then it’s name. I’ve tried downloading several plugins including

    category seo meta tags

    and

    category meta plugin

    Here is my code for header.php:

    and this is what I have in category title format for all in one seo pack:

    %category_title%

    I’ve tried others but same issue was still there.

    I’ve played around with the PHP and nothing worked. What am I doing wrong, please help. Thank you!

    have you tried this plugin?

    You can use a variety of things in the titles. One option I could see working well, is that you can use category description

    You can set the description to whatever you want for each category, and then include that in the title instead of, or with, the category name

    Not sure if this is flexible enough for you?
