• Hey hey,

I’ve probably tried 10 different forums for this question, and in addition to still have the same problem, I haven’t had ONE single reply.
I’m using NextGen Gallery, with a HighSlide effect. I placed the gallery in the middle of a post, and all seems to be working fine. The problem, however, comes in with the pagination. I’ve got about 30 pictures in each gallery, and display about 10 thumbnails at a time. The problem: When I change from page 1 to page two (of the gallery), it reloads the whole post, jumping to the top of the post, leaving the visitor to scroll down to the middle of the post every time.

Can anybody give me advise with this problem?

  • Browsers load from top to bottom. When you load a new page your browser will automatically “jump” to the top.

Ok, that was pointless – I know browsers load from the top. My question was not where does browsers load from. I’m looking for a solution for my problem. I don’t want the whole page to reload. I just want the next 10 thumbnails to show, and the page to stay where it was – not at the top of the page – WHERE BROWSERS LOAD FROM.
Thanks for pointing that out Techru

It must be solved with anchors, I had some ideas but never found a reliable solution (for different layouts)… so currently it’s not possible
