    hi-

visit step by step tutorial on our website how you can set up correctly your facebook page id.

i m testing incoming version to support page id or page URL, maybe another week to release, stay tuned.

I am having the same problem, but I think it may be sometimes facebooks problem. Sometime it works and sometime it doesn’t. There is another thing however, You can’t turn off faces, even tho the box is checked.

Ok, it turns out it just took well over an hour for the Facebook AP to kick in. Tue with the faces as well. I think I’ll just go with the Facebook generated Like Box so I don’t have to deal with everyone’s mugs on my site.

    guys, thanks for the feedback.

please Update to latest version, 1.8 which:
    – solve all bugs related to show or not show faces and streams
    – this new version also has an enhancement to include Facebook Like and Recommend Button, and to support XFBML rendering

Hey, I activated the plugin but it shows the wrong # of likes. It shows 3, when I really just have 2…any idea why?

Yeah, and it shows 28 for me when I only have 11. I don’t like to slam developers because they make great plugins for free but this plugin is turning into a hot mess. I think I’m just going to go with the facebook developers tool and skip this. It simply doesn’t work right now.

this plugin has 2 plugins in one from Facebook:
    – Facebook Like Box, and
    – Facebook Like Button

you need to understand the natural usage of this 2 plugins. Just have a google search /visiting official Facebook developer page.

Like Box is attached to Page URL /ID on your Facebook Page but you embed it on your own website for ppl to visit and to like the Facebook Page, the count is the same no matter which page user is currently at your website URL.

While Like Button will depend on which URL of your website user is now, and clicking on Like Button page on that particular page (particular URL) will be considered one count just for that particular URL.

So guys, please understand how it works before your confusion has at the end made other ppl more confused to understand this 2 Facebook plugins which has combined into 1 wordpress plugin, FAcebook LIke Box Widget.

Right. I understand what you are talking about now. I’ll change my like buttons into boxes for all three of my pages and see if they are consistent with each other and report back.
    Thanks for clearing up.

Ok, I got everything working so far except for 2 things. (1) When I select number of connections, I put 3, I’m still getting 6 faces on the widget. I don’t really need faces so I just turned it off altogether and it seems to work fine. (2) I have 3 sidebars running; Home, Pages, and Blog. The widget works perfectly fine on each except for the Blog. All I’m getting is the widget title and nothing from the Facebook. All my settings are EXACTLY the same and triple checked. How can this be?
