Image overlay assistance

    I’m currently using a theme from Elegant Themes (Nova).. and can not for the life of me get an image overlay to work on any images.

    (as seen in the thumbnail here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/preview/Nova/about-2/our-mission-statement/ ) …the effect I’m going for is that kind of curled photo, drop shadow effect on the thumbnail.

    I feel as if I’m missing something simple, but after Googling that heck out of this thing thought I’d try my luck here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • It looks like you managed to get it to work even though nobody responded here. Mind sharing how you did it? I’d like to have circular thumbnails.
