Anyway, I got a clean install up with the same versions of everything as you, and I can’t replicate the problem?

Thanks for getting back to me. I created a Test Gallery to check the steps and to see when the error occurs and have found something.
I created a gallery the usual way, upload images and then go into Manage Gallery.

Then, in the Gallery Settings section of the Manage Gallery page I ‘Create New Page’ in order to link the gallery to its own page. I then noticed in the ‘Current Votes’ bit that a vote had been cast.

Interestingly, I also noticed that despite me having set the default voting options to use the Like/Dislike, the default for a new gallery appears to be the Drop Down voting. The new vote cast automatically was 0.

I really like your add on, it’s great fun. I really hope you can help me sort this out as I want to continue to use it.

So does the vote show up after you create the new page for the gallery?
I tried doing the same and I can’t get it to happen. I’m not sure what to do next? Has anyone else had this problem and care to let me know?

I noticed the default voting type doesn’t pull through this morning when trying to replicate your problem. I have just committed the patched version. I don’t think it has anything to do with your problem, but it needed fixing anyway.

I tried something new today. I deactivated the plugin before creating a new gallery. Then went through all the usual steps for creating a new ng gallery and once it had gone successfully live I went back in and reactivated your plugin. It meant I had to set the Gallery Voting Options for that gallery in its Manage Gallery page but it all worked fine with no problems.

A bit long-winded but certainly a work-around for now. The problem is obviously occurring when I create a page for a new gallery on its manage gallery page but I don’t know why.

I’m glad you’ve found a way around it. I just cannot replicate the problem on any of my test sites.

I will keep fiddling, and see if I can come up with something.
