adding images to a post

I am trying to add an image to a post. After searching for this topic, i still found that it wasn’t working. Here’s what’s happening:
I am pasting code into my post as
<img src=a€?https://www.domain.com/folder/image.jpga€? />
The only problem is that, if my root folder is on my server at
“https://www.website.com/main/blogging/blog”,once it’s published it searches for
https://www.website.com/main/blogging/blog/”https://www.domain.com/folder/image.jpga€? />
And when you open the Activity window in safari it says that it can’t be found, obviously because the link is wrong. Anybody know how i can fix this? thanks
