I wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s a WP site, unless I checked the source code, but overall great site.

@sureshraina – I’m not sure what you’re asking me for. Again, I’m a total newb. I have no idea how to tell you what the “code” is for the slideshow but the template I used can be found at web2feel.com. It’s a free template called “ecologic.” I hope this is what you were asking for.

Jonaco, That’s a great looking site. Love the RSS FB YT and twitter logos. I was curious what advertising widget/plugin u used? the 2 x 2 advertisaing.

@lagmunky – thanks for the input. The plugin/widget for FB and Twitter is called “Social Media Widget.” As for the advertising, it is built into the template. I’m way too new at this to tell you anything about code but if you want to investigate for yourself, the free template is called “ecologic” and is available at web2feel.com.

@loke. First, thanks for the nice words about the site. To answer your question, I guess I thought it would add a little more legitimacy to the site as a potential revenue generator. I’m new to this, and I know blogging and making money aren’t mutually exclusive, this was just my mindset when I started working on the site. Maybe it shouldn’t be…

I really liked your site except 2 things.
1. blender dude font at the top (there’s something wrong with dpi) (first thing i could say as a graphic designer & WP newb)
2. horizontal scroll bar

Btw, which plugin are you using for favicon?

@emrearman – favicon plugin is “JR Favicon for WordPress”.

I think I know what you mean with the font at top. I simply added the name of the font I wanted and selected font size in my style.css and this was the result. However, in my ads I used a PNG file and the letters appear much “cleaner.” I’d like to create a PNG of the “logo” up top and insert it, I just don’t know how to do it.

I’m also not sure what you mean by “horizontal scroll bar.” Are you referring to the menu at the top (About, Blenders, Articles, etc)?

No, I mean the size of the screen. Something about resolution I guess. The page looks big so there’s a right-left scroll bar. Dunno it’s only me who sees that.

I think I can create the PNG file I just don’t know how to insert it. Scared of code ??

Gotcha on the horizontal scroll bar. Resolution isn’t an issue on my screen nor has it been on any other computers that I’ve checked the site against.
