[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Hid the 'Hide this code button' and can't get the code

    Hello anyone,
    I accidentally clicked the ‘hide this code’ button when I got the warning during install about how my .htaccess file was not writeable. Well I need to put the code for disk enhanced page cache into my .htaccess file but I can’t seem to get that code to display for me after hiding it accidentally.

    I’m sure it’s something really simple and I have tried to figure it out on my own.

  • If you use the sidebar ‘Performance’ menu, you should see an option called ‘Install’

    Click that and you’ll be taken to a page that has your .htaccess settings. The direct link to the page is:

    /wp-admin/admin.php?page=w3tc_install

    and you’ll find the code under the heading ‘Rewrite rules’
