Simple Photo Gallery & MX4 theme

The whitespace is likely a background image, find the appropriate one in css file.

What program or plugin are you using to display your photos ? Different programs cause different problems.

It is the background image. Right now it is kubrickbg.gif You need to get rid of the call to sidebar and change that image to kubrickbgwide.gif

Just changing the image might affect other pages. There is a call to get the bgimage based on the type of page it is (if page…). I forget what file it’s in. Making the Photos page meet the desired definition for the correct bgimage to be called is the better way, I think. I don’t have time to look for it now, but will try to later tonight if no one else steps up.

Hi, if you haven’t located it yet, it is the header.php file in your mx4_theme. Look for “Checks to see whether it needs a sidebar or not” on line 18, which should call either the kubrickbg.gif in line 19 or the kubrickbgwide.gif in line 20, based on what conditions the page meets as defined by line 18. ya i found this, but if i take out that line it changes it for the whole thing. in other words, if i take out that line, the other pages change as well…is there a way around this?

if you’re talking about css like i’m pretty sure you are, just make the class used on that page one character different, like adding the number 2 on the end of it. then go into the style.css and make a copy of the old class and add the 2 on the end of it there. or you could always add the word ‘gallery’ to the end of the class.

First off you need simple php gallery.
