Can't get to Home page OR admin panel

    Hi

    I installed WordPress a few days ago.

    I had already designed and coded up a webpage with HTML, CSS and some jQuery.

    I need to move this site into WordPress for my boss to be able to update.

    Anyway, I had just finished customising the header and had the new navigation working a treat. I was at this stage able to edit, add and take away menu items on the website through the admin panel. Everything was going well.

    Then I don’t know quite what happened but my home page stopped appearing in the list of pages – I have 5 pages but only 4 showed up in the pages thingo in the admin panel.

    Next the Home page link redirected to

    “Not Found

    Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”

    The other four links still work.

    THEN I found I could not get into the admin panel at all.

    PLEASE can someone help me!
