Should archived posts be removed from the main category

  • When a post becomes “archived” shouldn’t it be removed from the posts shown in the “category” the post belonged to, ie places them in a separate “archived posts” container.

    On my site this doesn’t happen and I’m wondering if either I’ve
    a. misunderstood the archive functionality
    b. have missed a vital setting
    c. have a ‘bug’ (gasp!)
