    The only issue I’ve had with WordPress in the past was the way that as you added plugins to a site those plugin’s all added calls to their own stylesheets and/or javascript files, all increasing the page weight and the amount of ancillary calls that a search engine would have to wade through before getting to the actual page content.

    What are other people’s thoughts and opinions on this?

    There are a number of WordPress frameworks. Is it advisable to use one of these? Presumably they have certain functionality built-in that would have meant a plug-in, so do they help to reduce page bloat?

    I thought I’d just throw the topic out there for discussion.
