• in its current form, will it be possible to export survey results to Excel/CSV format? that way, the plugin does not need to expand its features/functionalities – it is the data that is important to the survey creator. by exporting, the ability to create custom charts from existing tools e.g. Microsoft Excel would be a bonus for further analysis.

Just wanted to echo request for this feature as well.

Right now, we export an Excel file of the “wpsqt_results” database file through phpMyAdmin, and within Excel select row(s) and use the Data > Text to Columns, and use ” (one quotation mark) as the delimiter. That gets enough elements of the quiz results into separate columns from which we can manipulate & cobble together enough information to provide reporting on quiz submissions.

Having a built-in export to a CSV file with results cleanly listed in their own column with a row per submission would be absolutely excellent.

[It would be even more ideal if a client were able to access the export option without being able to modify the quiz/survey settings (though that may have to be controlled in conjunction with a separate WP user permission plugin, unless there was a separate, web-accessible URL (optionally protected through .htaccess) that could generate the export file.)]

Thanks for the great efforts continually put forth in this well-made plugin.

An export and import functionality is planned for the next major release. No ETA on it tho.

There is a very easy way to export anything from the MySQL database. I use the WP plugin “Database Interface Toolkit”, wiyh this tool you can create your own view, combine fields from different tables and works great for exporting the results from the “WP Survey And Quiz Tool”
