Searching for a plugin like this, only better..

  • Hello,

    I had a problem with fishing images from posts and placing them in the excerpts on the category.php page.

    Now i found this plugin:

    It works good but it’s to basic.
    And i was hoping there is a better one out there..

    Why would i always pick the first image from the posts.. (or any other number) this feature and this plugin now controls my way of writing a post, because i always have to think what image i place first in the posts to match it with the category page.

    I wish there was a plugin that lets you upload a image for the excerpts on the category page..

    Anybody a great idea about this?

  • This is built-in from 2.9. On the post editing page, open Display Options and check “Post thumbnail”. In the box, you can set the thumbnail image.
