• Would be a great plugin if you could actually control the fields in the form. I would recommend using something like Contact Form 7 to control the form itself, rather than having just a plain form with nothing customized, most business sites need more than a name, email, and a message. Any word on further development for this? I’d be willing to pay for something that has more control and so easy to setup, just adding the class=”smcf-link” is awesome.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I’ve contemplated a few different ideas. A building line CF7 might be more than I’m willing to take on right now, but I certainly could provide a filter that allows you to customize the form.

Either way, it probably won’t be something I can get to until later in the year.

Understandable, and thanks so much for getting back to me! So many developers never respond. I do love the plugin for what it is, it’s extremely easy because you don’t have to do anything, works out-of-the-box and looks great! I have this one client that needed something like this, but they wanted a phone field, so that’s when I realized I couldn’t add it to the form. The other issue is if I did use it for a site, I always like to make sure it can be updated later in case the client decides they need another field, I’d hate to say well, we need another plugin (clients always change their mind later).

I’ll be manually coding this one, but in the future, hopefully we’ll have something available somewhere that has a form with a lightbox, so many people are starting to ask for it.

    ?? thanks again for responding~
