• I posted a page entitled “About Me”. In the post I made a number of references to family members including my mom.

I just noticed that every instance of the word “mom” has been underlined with a dash and links back to the top of the page. All of the links in my CSS are solid lines, not dashes and I have no idea how this came about. It wasn’t like this initially. Could this be a bug caused by a plug-in? Has anyone else come across this?

  • well, a link with the class “acropop” is being inserted around it. Do you have any plugins that use that class?

I see that! And did you notice the URL to the image source?

    Example.com

Wierd. I’ve never heard of it and don’t know how it got there. Could this be some new Spam devise?

i’m not sure how this could be done with spamming. If it’s not from one of your plugins, it could be some file somewhere on your server causing this to occur.Take a look at the files you currently have on your server and see if you notice any that shouldn’t be there? Also since this was a created page, take a look at your page.php file and check to make sure there’s nothing fishy in there.

It is a plug-in. The Acropop plug-in. “Mom” is the example he uses for setting up an array.

The plug-in is designed to pop up a picture that is associated with certain words. I remember thinking this might come in handy but I didn’t take out his example array.

Glad we solved that one. Thanks for the help.

ah ok lol well glad that you were able to figure it out.
