It might help if you could provide a link to the site in question, else you’re limiting potential answers to users who use both BuddyPress and the Milano theme, when it’s likely all you need is a small tweak in the CSS(which any number of people could help you with, if a link to the site was available).

well i managed to adjust the font properly with you recommendation
body.wp-admin #wp-admin-bar li * {
font:12px normal georgia,times,serif !important;
}
which i changed to:
#wp-admin-bar li a,
a#admin-bar-logo { font:15px calibri !important;
}
except that
body.wp-admin #wp-adminbar-menu {
background:yellow !important;}
only changes the background of the menu only whereas i would like to change the colour of the whole bar to feed in more properly with the rest of the design…

i seem to have a problem with the tracking statistcs of my site we-cook.com.
on both urchin and google analytics i have no trace of ANY traffic at all…
