As per the title really- How can I stop this plugin from adding the page/ post title to the end of the breadcrumb?

I dont have any need for that, since the H1 title is displayed directly below the breadcrumb.

    Thanks

  • Please, I need to make this change too and couldn’t find the answer.

Is there a way to remove the post/page title from the end of the breadcrumb display?
I am using WordPress SEO by Yoast.

Nope there currently is no way to do that and I have no plans to add it…

Thank you Joost. ?? I just did the change by going to the “advanced” page and adding a blank space at “Breadcrumbs title” field.

It looks much better now, but brought me a concern about SEO. My site shows the post titles as links. Would leaving a space at breadcrumbs title be a problem for search engine optimization?

@ brunocino – can you tell me where the “advanced” page is that you’re referring to? I only seem to have 1 settings page for this plugin & it’s located at “Settings->Breadcrumbs”.

I am using Yoast breadcumbs & not the Yoast SEO plugin.

    Thanks

@jeffreeeeey – I am using the Yoast SEO. I never tried the plugin you are using. Probably it doesn’t have this option.

Yoast Breadcrumbs unfortunately is a bit outdated now, you should check out my WordPress SEO plugin ??

Hi Joost! What about my question about leaving a blank space at the breadcrumbs title when I have a link in the page/post title. Would it be a problem for the SEO of my site? Thank you.
