[Plugin: SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2] Problem with 'promote old posts with no search engine traff

  • After installing STT2 latest version 1.52, I realised that it was re-posting old posts, which I do not want it to do. I then went to the settings and changed ‘Promote old posts iwth no search engine traffic’ to ‘NO’, but it is still re-posting old posts, and sending out to my subscribers. How to fix this please?

  • I’ve spent many hours over the last month trying to work out why my blog kept changing the posting dates on my old articles, until someone finally alerted me to this option in SEO Search Terms Tagging 2.

    I had to manually go in once or twice a day to reset the post date.

    This “feature” should definitely NOT be turned on by default. I can’t think that many people would want it in the first place.

    I’ve just turned it off today, so it will be interesting if it still keeps promoting old posts like Gossel. I sure hope not, as it’s a right pain in the ^%$^

    Took me forever to find this post. I was going nuts trying to understand why stuff from Dec 2008 was being re-posted

    The damn SEO Search Terms Tagging 2 plugin has the option labeled as ‘Promote old post with no search engine traffic:’ .. I thought it meant it will LINK to the old posts and not just change their dates?!!?
