• I am currently using the W3 Total Cache plugin with my latest WordPress install.

I am having trouble with my CDN changing the local images to the RackSpace Cloud link. It seems that I have to clear all cache before it starts to move the link over. I though as soon as I pushed publish it would change the links.

I currently use everything with Opcode: XCache and my CDN provider set to RackSpace Cloud.

Is there a setting I have to change to make the link become the CDN link?

When I look at the CDN Debug it says

<!– W3 Total Cache: CDN debug info:

    Engine: rscf

I’m not really clear what you are asking.

If i am not wrong he said this: .. when he adds a new post to his WP w3tc will automatically upload images to the CDN. But the URL of the image in the new post will still be the local host of the wordpress (thus the image will have the default upload URL from wordpress). I got this too and the URL of the image only changed after i clicked on “Upload custom files”. Also, when i click “Export media library to CDN” it always stays at 0%. In my ftp logs i can see the plugin connecting and continuously transferring the files, but in the pop-up window i still have 0% and timeouts .. retrying. And everytime it retries, the plugin logs into the ftp once more.
I hope i made it more clear than the OP.

Do you all have auto-upload enabled so your custom files are uploaded? Also try the development version if the custom files are not the issue.

I was having the same issue.

I’m using Rackspace cloud files for my CDN and the W3 Plugin will upload the new .png files to the CDN as desired however it sometimes will take 1 or 2 days before the site will begin to re-write the URL’s to point to the .png file hosted at the CDN. I’ve tried clearing all cache and that does not help either.

It’s very odd and not very predictable. Any thoughts Frederick?

Seems it’s an issue with unsuccessful transfer queue, make sure that it’s empty (and that all files are exported).
