[Plugin: Promotion Slider] Categories

Hi Woodent! (hope you’re still around…)
First off, thanks a lot for this amazing plugin, it really saved me a lot of work.

One thing I cannot figure out is the promotion categories. What I’m trying to do is access them with normal wp functions (get_the_category(), is_category(), and so on), to develop some functionalities in the site, and it doesn’t seem to work. Functions do work with normal posts, but the promotion posts seem to work with categories not accesible with the usual PHP.

Any hints on how to get around this would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!
