I am suddenly getting an error when I try and upload any images it says

“after shot beacon hill main page.JPG” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/aiellobu/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/01.

I am not doing anything different to usual (it was working fine all day) I have tried different images to be sure its not a problem with the image itself they are all coming back with this error.

    Any suggestions?

    website is https://aiellobuilders.com.au/

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: gd-jpeg: JPEG library reports unrecoverable error: in /home/aiellobu/public_html/wp-includes/media.php on line 453

This is the new error message I just got after clearing cache shutting down browser etc

    Unrecoverable error sounds bad… ?

    UPdate:

I tried using ftp to upload directly and the transfers failed also. Does anyone have any ideas?

Change the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

    Hi Esmi,
Thanks for that I changed the permissions via ftp and still no change.

    Can you upload any images?

Hi Esmi.. I feel REALLY stupid. None of your fixes worked and I messed up the security settings (i stupidly clicked the button that changed them in all the subfoldres / files).

Sooooo I called my host and asked for a backup roll back to fix that mess. And after he did that we talked and it turns out I had runnout of space on the hosting package! So no more room for images.

So.. I get to redo a weeks work as penance for not looking at the simple things first.

Thankyou so much for you help and sorry for wasting your time.
