Moving WordPress to a new server

  • I have moved my database and uploaded my site to a new server, and it loads properly, but as soon as I try and load the wp-admin login screen it reverts back to my old server’s address.

    Anyone know this problem? and a solution?

  • Sounds like you need to edit your site’s URL in the database. Login to it via phpMyAdmin, find the wp_options table and change the old URL to the new one.
