• Hi Frederick,

    A few questions for you.

1: Going through your FAQ you mention to setup 10 CNAMES to use with Rackspace CloudFiles. The problem is Rackspace does not support CNAMES with their CDN: https://gpo.st/sh so if you add the CNAMES in the W3 settings, it will fail IE: no data served from CDN. Thoughts? Known issue?

2: After installing the plugin and getting it working on my blog – groovyPost.com I’ve noticed that it can take a few hours before the plugin will re-write the page to point to the CDN. Is this normal?

3: After letting the CDN run for a day now, the list of “Unsuccessful file transfers” is getting longer and longer. I have it set to “Enable changed files auto-upload” every 3600 seconds. When looking at the log it says they are failing because the object already exists.

Do you recommend I click the “Force over-writing of existing files” or is this just something this is normal? Up to this point i’ve been clearing the upload queue on all files with that status – object already exists.

4: I’ve noticed that it is at times hit and miss regarding caching files in my wp-content/themes/ folder. In other words, sometimes they will be served from CDN and sometimes from Orgin. Is this normal with Rackspace Cloudfiles or?

I’m not sure what you want me to say. if they don’t support it, there’s nothing I can do.

No, it can depend on lots of things like your settings or the age of the cache files or the status of the unsuccessful transfer queue.

It’s a common problem with Cloudfiles.

    No.
