help with setting up

  • heyy..im new to wordpress setting up and ive probably made a beginners error.. i set up the wordpress a few months ago and it all went well.. then i deleted for some reason ?? i went to install wordpress not too long ago and came up with this “You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.” .. im not sure what to do as i am new to this and any help will be good

    On my website host, in my Cpanel and Fantastico, it shows my current WordPress installations. It may be that remnants from an old WordPress install is still in your root. I would check and see if there is a “remove WordPress” link and then try to re-install.

    You might want to talk to your web hosting company. This sounds like a message coming from their installation software, and they can probably clean it up pretty easily for you.

    Usually, find the .fantasticodata directory in your home directory and delete the file called installed_in_root.php.
