The plugin tries to use a temporary directory, that doesn’t exist. The dashboard-widget ist full of error-warnings:

Warning: unlink(/tmp/gad_cache_05fd28d8e50577f3ceb79cc1c79e6c7b.dat) [function.unlink]: Operation not permitted in /home/xxxxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard/simplefilecache.php on line 112

This should be fixed in the 2.0 release that I put out today for those using WordPress 2.8 and later. I have moved from using /tmp to using the WordPress transient system for caching.
