style.css edits not propagating

    You can do this from the dashboard > Appearance > Editor the very first file that will come up is Stylesheet (style.css).

    If after you make your changes and hit the “Update File” nothing gets unchanged that means that you don’t have proper permissions to that style.css file. It looks like you made sucessful changes, but in reality it doesn’t.

    I would suggest that you get in touch with GoDaddy support and ask them if you have writting privileges to style.css.

    This is unless you don’t have FTP account.

    From other post of yours you mention that you’re using Dreamweaver, can you FTP to your site? If yes get the style.css (wordpress/wp-content/themes/genesis-2/style.css and simply edit directly in Dreamweaver. Upload back and you’re all set ??
