who gets upgrade notification?

    does an e-mail always go out to the e-mail address listed under the General Settings???

    I’ve built a bunch of sites with wordpress (10+) for different people and THEIR e-mail addresses are the ones listed on the General Settings pages of their sites.

    I was very suprised today that none of them contacted me and asked me “what’s with this e-mail about updating wordpress???”

    So to confirm, does an e-mail always go out to the e-mail address listed under the General Settings???
