Workspace Less Secure Apps

Thanks for reaching out! “Less Secure Apps” is a feature in Google Workspace or Gmail that allows users to connect with third-party apps using their Google username and password.

If you’re currently using the “Other SMTP” mailer option to connect with your Google account, you can generate an App Password and update it in Easy WP SMTP -> Settings -> SMTP Password.

Alternatively, you may switch to the Google Workspace / Gmail mailer, which uses an API-based connection that is compatible with current Google policies and requirements.
