Accessibility gone, previous design ruined
-
We’ve just updated plugins on one of dozens of websites that used to use the accessibility plugin and found that the old accessibility plugin has gone and we have to configure to new one (Ally) after linking it to our Elementor account. That’s 15 minutes of unplanned downtime and the loss of the design and accessibility on the website until this work is completed.
This is a terrible way to to roll this out by Elementor. Terrible.
Improving accessibility and the plugin is a good idea. Forcing it on users without consent is a very bad idea. I hope you’re able to change this because it will break an awful lot of websites and ironically, remove the accessibility tools from them.
