Hey, we had great success with your plugin on our other websites, however, on both GoDaddy Managed WordPress our business owns (they have the same plugins as my other sites), UTMs are not tracked in Overview tab at all.
This Managed WordPress has a caching feature, but I am failing to decipher what and where I need to do to make your plugin work.
    Would really appreciate some help!

    Hi @flexpavillion ,

You are facing a strange problem. I may need to check your website to solve the problem. Have you excluded the cookie key (wordpress_utm_event_tracker_session) of the UTM Event Tracker plugin?

    Thanks,

    Hey @reponwp,

Managed WordPress on GoDaddy has a caching feature, but no dashboard to exclude cookies or files from cache. :/
I have no caching plugins because of that so I don’t know where to exclude…

It’s great that you don’t have a caching plugin. However, I believe GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting includes a built-in cache feature. You may need to exclude the cookie key from caching through the GoDaddy dashboard.

Please refer to this guideline for instructions: https://www.godaddy.com/en-in/help/allow-website-visitors-to-set-cookie-and-tracking-preferences-27806

Websites + Marketing is a different than Managed WordPress, they are different hosting services. So I have no such dashboard.

Maybe writing a httpaccess rule would help me?

On the above page, you will find some instructions. Please follow those steps

Allow website visitors to set cookie and tracking preferences
Go to your GoDaddy product page.
Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your website.
Select Edit Website to open your website editor.
    and there are more steps.

I checked your website and the system does not store the cookie of this plugin which is wordpress_utm_event_tracker_session. You need to contact GoDaddy support to exclude this cookie key.

I did and they said that is not possible, unfortunately. I will move them over to another hosting package, like cpanel hosting from GoDaddy that work perfectly with your plugin.

    Thanks for the help.
