• Hello, we recently decided to give this plugin a try as we have over 50k orders in the system before installing it was taking over 25 seconds for an order search to yield a result when looking for a specific order number.

Two things we’ve noticed since installing Fast Order Lookup:

    1. There is a persistent message ‘Fast Woo Order Lookup indexing begins soon. See the?Scheduled Actions status page?for details.’ – when we check that page there is no pending action for ‘”fast_woo_order_lookup_textdex_action” –
We then check the completed actions, and it does appear there.
Why is this message persisting across the entire WP admin even though it is complete? It does not seem to be dismissable.
    2. There seems to be no change in the speed to which the orders can searched and results presented. It’s still around 25 seconds.

Thank you for your help ?? Let us know any tips we should consider ??

    Vinny

Thanks for the defect report. I am grateful to you for taking the time to report it.

The still-slow search times are due to the fact that the indexing action is not complete. Search works the old way until indexing is done.

I wonder if any of your Failed actions relate to this plugin’s work? A few times in the history of this plugin we (me and the users) have encountered a situation where some other plugin did something that this one didn’t predict.

Could you look at the Failed ones?

And, if you are able, could you enable WP_DEBUG_LOG in your wp-config.php file, then deactivate and reactivate the plugin, then after 20 minutes or so send me stuff from .../wp-content/debug.log? That lets me know more about what is wrong.
