It’s a great idea when it works but recently I spent 3 days trying to figure out why my server’s CPU was suddenly at 100% non stop. Eventually, figured out. Loadconnector kept creating cron jobs (that are supposed to go off twice a day) every few seconds. Now, try to picture removing 50K cron jobs from multiple sites when the CPU is overloaded (chicken and egg disaster) and you can’t remove more than a few at a time or it completely crashes. 3 days without sleep just to get sites back live and server to normal performance. Now, I installed updated version (hopefully, the issue is fixed) and there are no more options for any other chat widgets than a ‘chatbot widget’. Now, I can’t even use ‘sms/email chat’ widget anymore? What happened? I love GHL but this plugin… if it only did what it is meant to do reliably, I’d be happy to change my rating.

@balticsamurai We apologies for all the miscommunication. Made a note internally, we will be mindful about it going forward.

Same problem here, performance of my site dropped so low I couldn’t do anything…
I might roll back to an older version if I can find one.

I’ve also experienced this issue. I have disabled the plugin temporarily until there is a fix. Had to delete around 10,000 cron jobs.

@paraglc frankly, I’m so terrified of this plugin that I don’t even want to go close to it, at least not on a live ‘money site’. After I cleaned all cron jobs, I installed the latest version again thinking maybe the bug is fixed… then I realized that I can’t even enable the ‘sms/email’ chat widget which was main reason to install plugin in the first place. Earlier versions I had no problem with that… Strange… I disabled it minutes later. To my surprise after a while, suddenly CPU spikes again. This time I know where to look. And, of course 30,000 cron jobs with 1-3 second intervals in the site. Clear up my calendar and back to work deleting them in small batches (CPU overloaded, can’t delete in big batches, you know…). Guys, common, I’m not the only one here. I’m a big fan of GHL, but this experience freaked me out big time. I’ve been with WordPress since the early days and I’ve never had to spend this much time fixing problems a plugin created. Trust me, I’m not a complainer, in fact, I love to encourage and support all hard-working developers, leave positive reviews but this left so much bad taste in my mouth I had to talk about it. I’ll be happy to change my review at some point but right now I don’t even want to touch it.

So sorry to hear that & Thanks for the feedback @balticsamurai
We are actively working on resolving this. Will keep you posted.

@paraglc this bug has been known for over a week, it doesn’t take this long to fix a bug…

Also you haven’t provided any workaround or anything on the support forums.

My site is still experiencing issues, I rolled back to 2.0 version plugin and my Cron’s are still filling up at a alarming rate. GHL costs us a lot, surely the company should have the A Team on this bug to make sure clients don’t get annoyed and start looking elsewhere!
