• Hello, I had installed multiple variations of the open sans font through the site editor, but recently removed them for a test. Now whenever I try to install those same font variations again, they just don’t show up as installed, except for the 1 original. I even tried uploading those fonts but I get this error:

“There was an error installing fonts. A font face matching those settings already exists.”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,
Can you provide the detailed step-by-steps instructions for how you added, removed, and re-added the fonts? Without it, it is difficult to test.

Hello @poena The first thing I did a while ago was went to the typography tab in styles and opened up the fonts popup. I then clicked “install fonts” and searched for “open sans” I clicked on open sans and selected a few of the variants. Then I clicked “install” and exited out of that popup. Recently I went back to the typography tab and clicked on “open sans” under the fonts heading. It opened up the font tab showing the open sans variations I installed and I unchecked all of them, and clicked “update”. A bit later I redid the first few steps I said for adding the font originally and checked the same variations I had previously uninstalled. I then clicked “install” and exited out of the popup. But when I looked under the fonts section in the typography tab open sans only had 1 variation installed instead of the multiple I had clicked, and when I tried to install them again nothing changed.
