    I am integrating the donation button into an Elementor popup using the shortcode and I always get this error – an error occurred while connecting paypal sdk

    Please advise what is the issue.

    To help us narrow down the issue, can you confirm if the issue persists if you put the shortcode directly onto a page, instead of inside an elementor popup?

    On a standard page it works fine.

    It sounds like this issue is specifically with the Elementor popups then. We will look into this issue further. I suspect their popup is blocking the PayPal SDK from connecting, causing that error message. Unfortunately for the time being, we would suggest simply not using an Elementor popup for your payment button.
