how to link to specific pdf file ?

    Really hope you can help here.

    Pdf id (image) showing fine – but how do i link to it / the pdf file?
    I use :

    [pdf_thumbnail id="123"]

    I would like to link to the specific pdf file – so the users can read it.

    Hello,

    hard to say, depends on how you build your website, what editor you use, etc…

    But basically you just need to wrap this with <a> tag.

    Maybe I can add some new shortcode in the next version that can output clickable image… it could be helpful…

    Sorry if i didnt add more information about website / builder etc.

    Im using Elementor, where i have insert the shortcode.

    [pdf_thumbnail id="3332"]

    *the id off my pdf

    The shortcode makes a perfect picture (image) of the PDF file on my mainpage
    But how do i link to a specific pdf file whitin Elementor ?

    Is the best way to link to a specific pdf file with a link like:
    <a href=”#” target=”_blank”>[pdf_thumbnail id=”3332″] </a

    Really hope you can help me
