Aligning Image and Heading Blocks
-
Hello. Since the last WordPress update (6.7.1), the Classic Block has been totally broken!
So, now I am trying to find another way to create nice alignments within my articles. At present, all I can do is put an image Above or Below a Heading, but not aligned with it!
I can then use a Paragraph Block and wrap the text around the image, but if the paragraph text is only short, it leaves a huge white gap before the next Heading Block. If I use any of the available Container Blocks, there are Always massive gaps, ugly alignments, and no text wrapping possible – the Paragraph Block must sit After the image.
I took a screenshot of a draft post showing the image, heading, and paragraph issues, but I do not know how to share it here. (I do not want to publish it to my site for everyone to see, which would give me a URL.)
I am in Chrome, on Windows 10, using the latest WordPress (6.7.1), and I use the latest Astra Theme (4.8.11) with a Child Theme.
PS: I really wish someone at WordPress would pay attention and fix the many problems they have created with the Classic Block! This last update was a serious and total Downgrade. My primary Block is now useless. All pasted text is split onto many smaller blocks, all bold and italics are removed (with no option to keep them), and image alignments are now a nightmare, as above!
