    Hi Guido,

after filling the form, adding correct number of sum field and submitting the contact form, it gives me a message “Please enter the correct result”. It works on second try.

How can it be solved, please?

    thanks,

    Tibo

    Hi Tibo,

Can you exclude the contact page from your caching and see if this solves the problem?
(I see that you’re using LiteSpeed Cache)

    From their site:
Log in to your WordPress website >> Litespeed cache >> Cache >> Exclude >> Inside the field “Do Not Cache URIs” add the pages that should not be cached.

    Hi Guido,

I did exclude whole contact page from caching, it seems to work;) Thanks!

One more question: after submitting the form and seeing message “Thank you! You will receive our response as soon as possible.” I have to click on contact page in top menu to see form again. Is it possible for message to disappear automatically after lets say few seconds and see form again?

    thanks,

    Hoi Tibo,

Great, caching and variable content (in this case the sum) often causes problems.

To answer your question, no this is currently not possible. But I will look into this.

I did see something else at your site. The element that holds the form has a fix height of 360 px. It cuts off the form when it’s not filled in correctly and the red warnings are displayed.

I know, I want to have contact form same height as right container with image which is 360px. Not sure what can I do there differently. I will scratch my head about it tomorrow:) Any idea?

Anyway, thanks for your help, as always.

    Hi,

Fixed height (and width) is tricky, because your site is displayed in various devices (= screen sizes).
In this case I don’t see a big problem, the form has almost the same height as the map next to it. The height only becomes more than 360 px in case of a form error. So IMO you can remove the fixed height from the form container.
