• Resolved MCD Dise?o Web

    Hello,

I am experiencing an issue when trying to connect my WordPress site to Optimole. Previously, I had a free account registered with the email email [ deleted, please never post email addresses here again ], which I deactivated. Recently, I created a new account using the email [ deleted, please never post email addresses here again ]. I can log in to the new account’s dashboard and have even added my domain miguelcarrerasdutra.com.

However, when connecting the Optimole plugin in WordPress with the new API, I receive the following error:

"No se puede conectar al servicio de Optimole.
Details: It seems like this website was previously connected to an Optimole account that is now disabled. To continue enjoying our image optimization services on this website, you'll need to upgrade your account."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, and cleaned the database, but the issue persists, as the plugin still seems to reference data from the previous account. I already submitted this complaint via the contact page but have not received any response. Therefore, I will be posting it in the www.remarpro.com support forum.

I would appreciate it if you could unlink any residual association with the old account so that I can use the new account without having to upgrade to premium.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Miguel Angel

    Hola,

Estoy experimentando un problema al intentar conectar mi sitio de WordPress con Optimole. Anteriormente, tenía una cuenta gratuita registrada con el correo [ deleted, please never post email addresses here again ], la cual desactivé. Recientemente, creé una nueva cuenta utilizando el correo [ deleted, please never post email addresses here again ].

    Saludos cordiales,
    Miguel Angel

It has been quite a while since I contacted Optimole support and I still don’t have a solution. I’m still unable to connect the WordPress plugin to my free Optimole account. I’ve sent a new message to support via their contact form, but I haven’t received a response. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Have you managed to resolve it in any way?

Unfair Policy Impacting Reconnection of Website to New Optimole Account

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my experience with Optimole’s support regarding an issue I’ve encountered. I recently reconnected my website, miguelcarrerasdutra.com, to Optimole after a long period of inactivity. I created a new Optimole account for my website, as I had previously deactivated my website and deleted my old Optimole account for personal reasons.

However, when I attempted to connect my new account to my website, I was told that because my domain was previously associated with an old Optimole account (which was deactivated), I would need to upgrade to a premium plan in order to reconnect my site. This seems completely unreasonable, given that my new account and site are entirely independent of the old account.

The policy of requiring a premium plan for reactivation is not only inconvenient but also unfair. As a legitimate website owner who is trying to use Optimole’s service on a fresh account with a legitimate, active site, I don’t understand why I should be forced into paying for a plan just to reconnect my website.

I would like to ask if anyone else has encountered this situation, and if so, how they have dealt with it. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue without having to upgrade to a premium plan?

I hope the Optimole team can reconsider their policy, as it seems to be an unnecessary hurdle for users like me who are trying to use the service responsibly and within the free plan limits.

Thank you for reading, and I appreciate any feedback or advice from the community!

    Best regards,
    Miguel Carreras Dutra

Thank you for your response and for the explanation. I understand Optimole’s policy, although in my particular case, it feels somewhat restrictive, as the previous account was deactivated a year ago due to personal reasons.

Since there is no option to continue with the free plan, I have decided to opt for an alternative solution for image optimization on my website. I appreciate the support provided, and I consider this matter closed.

Thank you once again for your time and consideration.
