I’ve just installed the plugin for evaluation, and there seems to be an issue with the widget on the WordPress dashboard page (not the plugin’s own dashboard page). I’ve logged about a dozen searches, all of which appear on the plugin’s own dashboard page, but the widget shown on the main WordPress admin dashboard page doesn’t display any data.

I’ve gone over the settings to make sure it’s not a permission issue, but none of the settings seem to relate to the widget.

I’m setting up a site for a client who needs to be able to find the search statistics easily, so having the widget visible right on the dashboard after logging in would be perfect. A dedicated menu item on the main admin menu would also be a good alternative.

    Hi @azinfiro,

the data for the dashboard widget is cached for performance reasons, with a duration of one hour. That means the data in the dashboard widget could remain empty initially but should be populated after one hour, and update every hour afterwards. Could you let me know if it did populate after a while?

Thanks for clarifying. There’s data there now, but it’s a little unexpected.

Thank you for the feedback, I’ll look into making the dashboard cache time filterable in a future release so it can be easily configured to have a shorter cache time (or no cache at all) so it can stay in sync with the plugin page data. Please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions.

That sounds great. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
