Plugins and Themes can't be uninstalled/updated and 'Page Cannot Be Found' Error

    Consider updating the permission of your plugins directory to 755
    (https://sitename.com/wp-content/plugins) make sure to modify or delete .htaccess (found in siteroot) file as well (It may block the permissions)

    Make sure you perform the relative changes to the themes directory as well.

    Thanks royalprince! I found some more info…

    The web server hosting my WordPress installation is a Win2003 box using IIS6, therefore Permalinks and URL rewriting are not natively supported.

    In order to activate them… I need to implement an ISAPI filter and custom config file to place in the root directory of the website.

    Anyone know where I can find this ISAPI filter and custom config file, or instructions on how to write it?
