HELP! Having my email address naked on the donation page has led to it being added to spam lists and I’m getting bombarded with spam! Now, I have to delete it, which is disruptive. How do I hide my next email address, or is it time to look for another plug-in? Tx

Our plugin does not output any email addresses on any webpage, so I’m not sure what might be happening on your site. There could be some misunderstanding.

Could you share a screenshot or a link to the page containing the payment button? That would help me get a better visual understanding of the issue.

In the settings it asks for my email address. Then this is what is seen when the DONATE button is pressed- https://www.paypal.com/donate?token=mGKCVSbZRvZTSf-dA9z0hTcYDhkrYVrn6HJp3SUNn1G6gFgEeiy_jfPljV9zaTcBvI_JQD20ddWb1xZl

Thank you for sharing the info. The issue you mentioned is not related to our plugin. Our plugin simply uses your PayPal API credentials to communicate with PayPal. The page you’re referring to is controlled by PayPal and is a standard behavior for PayPal personal accounts.

When the PayPal checkout opens—regardless of which plugin you use—PayPal will display your personal email if you’re using a personal account. To have PayPal show your business name instead, you’ll need to upgrade to a PayPal Business account.

Ah. It would have been nice if that had been in the instructions somewhere. I just spend a year deleting spam emails, and having to delete multiple email accounts until I realized last night my email was being displayed when someone pressed the link from the plug-in.
