Student created is not visible in UI, but present in database

when creating a student, the parent account is also created. the parent account is there in the parent tab, but the student account is not there in the student tab. i checked my database, the student entry is there. i tried to download the demo data, and demo students are visible. it is only the student created via the UI, that is missing.
