What do you mean with “page type”? I suppose you mean “post type”.
Are you sure you have also selected the single post from those ones that are the selected post type?
Is that post public?

Never heard that this plugin doesn’t work. And it’s very difficult to imagine a situation where it doesn’t work because it makes you write the ID of the selected post into the WordPress core option that saves that ID. If in the backend when you refresh the settings page you still see your settings, and you have selected a post, it must work if there are no caching issues.

Hi Jose, thanks for quick reply. Still couldnt figure it out, I do my test on the basic “Twenty Twenty-Five” theme. Using a plugin called “Meeek Bio Links” which behaves like a “post”, then in Setting > Reading, I select that “Meek Bio Links” as home page and select the specific post, but it doesnt replace the home page.
